Support FLARE

Supporting the cultural infrastructure around endometriosis.

FLARE exists because people chose to build it: artists, clinicians, volunteers, and forty-six partners and supporters in its first year. Support keeps that work continuous — between exhibitions, not only during them.

An independent platform

FLARE is an independent cultural platform, not a registered nonprofit.

That independence lets FLARE move at the pace of the artists and the community it serves: commissioning work, publishing steadily and building an exhibition in a matter of months, without waiting on a grant cycle to begin. Because FLARE is not a 501(c)(3), gifts are not tax-deductible. Contributions to the work itself are received with real gratitude, and made securely online.

Partner with FLARE

Partnerships across a season

FLARE partners with organizations across a full season: exhibitions, the Journal, Inside FLARE and film. Each partnership is shaped in conversation, around what both organizations want to build.

Who we partner with

  • Presenting and program partners
  • Foundations and philanthropic partners
  • Health, research and advocacy organizations
  • Cultural institutions and venues
  • Brands and makers whose values align with FLARE’s

How it begins

A short conversation about your goals and ours. From there we propose a partnership shaped to the season ahead. The first chapter’s partners are listed here.
