Getting Here
Public transit recommended
By subway — the easiest way +

The Sixth Floor Loft is a short walk from several stations.

Nearest stations
  • Union Square — N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, 6. The closest, about a block away.
  • 23rd Street — F, M, PATH.
  • 14th Street — 1, 2, 3, F, M, PATH, L. A slightly longer walk.
Paying your fare

A single ride is $3.00. You don’t need a MetroCard — just tap any contactless card, phone, or watch at the reader using OMNY.

Tap the same card or device every time and your fares cap automatically at $35 over a rolling seven days. Every ride after that is free. For a three-day visit, most guests spend well under the cap.

Service patterns change on nights and weekends. Check the MTA app or mta.info before you travel, and confirm current fares at mta.info/fares.

By rideshare or taxi +

Uber, Lyft, and yellow taxis are readily available. From Midtown, expect roughly $15–$45 depending on traffic, weather, and demand. Trips into the zone carry a small per-trip congestion surcharge.

Give your driver 873 Broadway, New York, NY 10003, and allow extra time in the evening.

By car — possible, but not recommended +

Driving into Lower Manhattan is possible, but we don’t recommend it. Traffic is heavy, street parking is scarce, and the venue sits inside NYC’s Congestion Relief Zone.

Congestion Relief Zone toll
  • Most passenger vehicles: $9.00 per day with E-ZPass, $13.50 per day without.
  • Charged once per calendar day. Peak hours run 5 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekends — which covers every hour FLARE is open.
  • The overnight E-ZPass rate is $2.25, and bridge or tunnel tolls may apply on top.

Confirm current rates with the MTA toll calculator.

Parking

There is no parking at the venue. The nearest garages are:

  • East 17th Street between Broadway and Union Square West — Champion Parking, the garage the venue lists.
  • East 18th Street between Irving Place and Park Avenue South.
  • East 20th Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
  • East 21st Street between Park Avenue South and Broadway.

Budget roughly $25–$55 for several hours or a full day; oversized vehicles and overnight stays cost more. Reserving ahead usually lowers the rate. Street parking is limited and heavily restricted — please don’t count on it for a timed event.
